New Tornado bomber enters service

A new bomber, the Tornado GR-4, has been commissioned by the Aesthetican Navy earlier today.
While not as fast as the Typhoon F-1, the Tornado GR-4 makes up for its slower speed with heavier armament, which includes quick-firing ion missiles, heatseaking missiles and two heavy-duty bombs. Similar to the Typhoon, the Tornado can also be used to patrol sectors and intercept intruding ships, however its limitations make it less recommended to engage in dogfights with other fighters.
Like the Typhoon, the Tornado will be placed into six squadrons of ten aircraft, thus forming the 1st Bomber Wing. The 1st Fighter and Bomber Wings will be deployed either separately or together at the command of the Fleet Air Arm, depending on what aircraft would be the most practical.
Tornado's main competitors at being best for its role include Vaygr's Linebacker fighter/bomber and Mortarian Legion's Malleus bomber (formerly a Calderon Republic heavy fighter), neither of which are dedicated bombers. It is unknown whether the Aesthetican Navy's allies Trident and Nova Fleet Dynamics possess a bomber to rival Tornado.
